Lauren Sansaricq
“I am in the pursuit of beauty. To me nature is the most beautiful thing, and to study its beauty brings me closer to God. Being in nature is a very transcendental experience. To me, nature is a portal to higher spiritual and philosophical thought.”
Lauren Sansaricq is a White Mountain School of Art painter. She began studying art at a young age, learning Hudson River School techniques, and then attending the Grand Central Academy of Art in Manhattan. Although she is a young artist, she has won several awards, including the
Hudson River Fellowship, on three occasions, and the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Award. She was also highlighted in the New York Times feature “The Great Hudson River Exhibition”
Sansaricq has also taught painting around the north east.
